COMING EVENTS

All these events are at the Wongawilli Community Hall unless otherwise noted.

Every Wednesday Night - Dance and Live Music, 8pm

Since 1989 the Wongawilli Colonial Dance Club has held a social bush dance every Wednesday night at the Wongawilli Community Hall, West Dapto Road, Wongawilli from 8pm to 10.30pm.

The regular Bush Dance at Wongawilli Hall will become a traditional music session for the last Wednesday of coming months. It will be a chance for mu sicians to play traditional tunes and songs in a free and relaxed situation.Sheet music will still be provided to encourage new musicians to join in. Dancers are still welcome but there will be no calling or walking through of dances.

The evening generally includes 10 bush dances which are all called and walked through. Novice dancers and musicians are invited to participate. Sheet music is provided for musicians. Members of the Wongawilli Bush Band form part of the Wongawilli Hall Ceildih Band.

Entry is $3 adults, children free, includes light supper.
